Will Andre Ward lose his first round of the Super Six?

He shutout Kessler and Green. Will he do the same to Abraham? I say yes. I think he goes into the fight with Froch/Johnson with a clean sheet.

He'll give AA opportunities as he's coming in despite having the ability to box on the outside while cruising to another W. He got a bit sloppy with Kessler towards the end but Kessler wasn't able to capitalize. But yeah, he should win fairly easy again. I think AA's confidence is running out at this point...

I'd assume that he has the abilities to win every round against Arthur Abraham. However, depending on the style of the fight, a few rounds might slip past him. If Abraham gets desperate, he could steal a later or mid-to-late round. If Ward starts out slower than usual, he could take one of the first three.

Just depends. However, I assume Ward gets into the finals without any major mark. I think he gets tagged in this bout though and I think we get questions about his chin answered.

I've never heard/read anyone say that he can't take a punch, but we'll know by the time the fight ends. Abraham will eventually land.

            12:27 - Boone 18-17 (7 KO)

He was hurt pretty bad and didn't look like a massive shot.

If he fights like he did against Froch then no, but hopefully AA actually throws some punches and makes a fight of it.

depends on how ward fights. if he stays on the outside and boxes, he'll win easily.

if he hugs-n-hits with AA, he'll put himself in the danger zone to get KTFO.

That was Wards 7th pro fight at just 20 years of age. He got up and won. That more than I can say for a lot of young fighters early in their careers. Including the current IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion.
