Damn. That's some picture there. The 2 Sugars and Ali. Not likely all 3 got together too many times. I wonder where and when?

Sad that 2 of the three suffered or are suffering for their boxing. At least SRL seems not to be so affected.

And to answer the question, I was gonna say Stockholm Syndrome to be semi-facetious, but someone beat me to it.

It's not as easy as fighters just going out on their own and flourishing with their own promotional company after they've made so much money.

People will be quick to point to De La Hoya and Mayweather as examples, but in the case of Oscar, it took years and inactivity as a fighter in the latter part of his career to REALLY focus on his promotion. As far as Mayweather, his promotional company isn't even a licensed Boxing promotion and has never put on a big show without the help of GBP.

Also, Pacquiao may be comfortable with the way things are. He's been able to get endorsement deals by some of the biggest companies in the world with the help of Top Rank and how they've been able to promote him in the last several years. As far as money is concerned, I think it's safe to say Pacquiao doesn't have a worry in the world. If he's comfortable with TR, **** it.

I talked about this last year.

Manny should be doing the same thing as Floyd and be a partner instead of being an employee. Arum has been pimping him for too long and he doesn't need Arum anymore.

I am joking but I totally understand were your coming from though, maybe that is how Manny feels, so hey if he is happy with Arum then good for him and good for Arum
Ok, you got me on that one. Haha! I get enough heat from my clients, gotta get from NSB too. LOL!

But yeah, I mean, Manny came from extreme poverty, even by filipino standards he was considered extremely poor. So he might just be one of them dudes that just grateful for what he's got and he's generous to those who he trusts.

Now I just gotta figure out a way to contact him and ask him if he's looking to refinance his house!

Probably has a lot to do with the fact that legal troubles are the last thing that Pacquiao needs. He'd have to fork over a lot of money to buy out his contract at this point. Without the numbers in front of me, I'd assume it'd be a high price. Let's say, Arum accepts 20 million for buyout.

If Pacquiao only fights three or for more times, it wouldn't be worth it. He'd pay about the same in terms of Arum and he'd be ensured that his fights are promoted properly by sticking around. Now, this is all speculation, but what else can we go with?

Not to mention that I'm sure Manny is a loyal guy. He seems to be, anyway. He probably doesn't mind making money for the company that brought him to this level.

He also knows that leaving would possibly kill Arum, literally. A heart attack, I'd guess.

Manny knows if he is to leave Top Rank, Arum will tell the world of his steroid use. With evidence and all.

Thanks. Not sure why you would think it was fake?
I can even see Veronica Porsche (Ali) in the background. I would guess this is from the late 70's maybe. Veronica is also the mother of Laila Ali.
                  Thanks again.

Arum gets paid to promote the fight. That costs money and is an important job. Gayweather claims he's his own promoter but he's not. He uses golden boy for every fight. What's the difference?

I don't see what the problem is?

Top Rank carefully navigated him to this point. They did their half, and Pacquaio did his half by knocking these cats out. Arum gets his cut, which go divvies up to all his staff and his company which ensure that all of Pac's fight are spectacles. Pac is way to busy with his side deals as well as his congressional duties to also focus on everything that goes into a promotion of a fight.

Everyone must be drinking that Floyd kool-aid about him being his own boss, yet he's never promoted his own stuff. His father, Oscar De La Hoya has handled all his fights and promotion
