When Vernon Forest knocked Mosley down it was definitely worse than the pac knock down. When forest caught him his legs were completely gone, he was all over the place and holding on for his life. To say that the pac knockdown was worse is purely to make himself (Mosley) feel better about his truly poor performance and is kinda disrespectful to the late Vernon Forest.

Remember when Mosley rocked Mayweather in the 2nd round and all pac fans were like "if pac had landed the same shot he would have finished Mayweather off"? Well he couldn't even finish off an old Mosley. So I think that argument has been put to rest now.

Pac losing some killer instinct maybe? Just throwing it out there lol

How about Mike Tyson, 5'11" but beating the crap of his opponents bigger than him, how big is Frank Bruno?

Comparing the knockdown of late Vernon Forrest on Shane against the KD of Pac against Shane is totally off the charts. Vernon is a 6'1" WW and Pac is 5'61/2" WW, by the body mass alone there's already a big difference. Of course Forrest will hit harder than Pac. But, with comparison to the size of Pac, he hits harder that what Mosley thought he would be.

By the way, all Mosley did after that 3rd KD was to run away and not to get caught by that sneaky left hand. And it's pretty much obvious, unless you really trying to ignore it or you're just to naive to accept that fact.

Not quite sure what you are getting at. It seems like you are trying to put words into Mosleys mouth. He didn't say that pac hits harder than Vernon Forest in comparison of size. He said that's the hardest he has been hit period. So if you are gonna reply to my post at least reply with facts.

The fight sure left somewhat of a bad aftertaste... already when it was announced it seemed really predictable given Shane's last two performances. He was already incapable of applying any real pressure against Mayweather after the 2nd round, the rest was all Mayweather dominating defensively.

I could never see Shane after that being able to go the distance toe to toe with Manny, who has an awesome mixture and rhythm of offense and defense, whereas Floyd benefited from his counterpunching ability. Manny creates and exploits openings through constant offensive pressure unlike any other fighter I´ve seen, plus he can take a punch ( he "voluntarily" did so vs Margarito )...

Unfortunately we were all led to think that Shane still had enough left in him to make this a real war, primarily by watching Fight Camp and experiencing the hype... That´s one mistake I´m not gonna make with regard to the Marquez fight, if it´s made... That fight also will NOT be competitive. I would LOVE to see Manny fight a dude like Victor Ortiz, instead of shot guys like Mosley. The Berto-Ortiz fight was a true war, and Victor took some huge shots, including one of the knockdowns, and got right back to work.

However I guess we´re not gonna get that as long as the Top Rank-GBP cold war lasts, so Manny´s gonna have to keep dealing for now with fighters who think they still got enough to trade with him, until he ends their career. Boxing politics suck... even for a boxing politician, hahahaha...
