I think Moore was the oldest but apparently his documented age might not be his actual age.
Virgill Hill was 42 when he won the Crusierweight title again but he didn't successfully defend it.
Can't think of much others off the top of my head.
Fitzsimmons was 40 when he won the LightHeavyweight title I believe.

I estimate Moore to be 45 when he made his last successful defense.

Foreman was what, 47/48? when he fought and beat Lou Savarese in his last successful defense.

He was stripped of one of his titles after winning it but I guess he did defend the IBF at 45 years of age so if Archie Moore was actually 45 then I guess it's a tie.

By that time he was stripped of his major titles.
He only held the WBU at that time.
His last defence of a major title was against Axel Schulz at the age of 46, I believe.

I consider George to have been
the
Champ until he lost
the
title to Briggs.
