inside the ring skill wise mayweather is one of the greatest that has laced up the gloves.outside the ring he's a mess. but whatever is going on in his life he makes it part of his promoting himself. actually one of the great businessmen in the sport too.

What Floyd said about Arum was correct. Do you think Arum will have nice things to say about Pacquiao if he leaves Top Rank, he'll try and drag his name through the mud like he did with Donaire.

Plain as day that Arum has been dragging Mayweathers name through the mud since he left him. How do you go from this......

Mayweather's promoter, Bob Arum (who celebrates 40 years in the business this year), says the Pretty Boy is the most talented boxer he's seen since Muhammad Ali (the first fighter Arum promoted); better than Sugar Ray Leonard (whom he promoted in the '80s).

          http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=2406011
to saying Floyd is scared of Margarito/Cotto/Pacquiao? Arum has done a great job as a promoter and selling his fights no doubt but he used Floyd's name to boost his fighters up with reluctance to make the fights and do business with Floyd. Don't have to be a fan of either to see that.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.
Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

Arum should be the one to blame for the fiasco that is happening in boxing. It's like the sport is his own personal playground and no one can play with his toys if you are not down with his team.

Honestly I wish Floyd would come out on the record and say "Look we will fight as soon as I get all of my legal problems squared away, which should be in about 6 months or so"

Then Pacquiao comes out and says" I have agreed with Floyd's requests for all OST up until fight time" Everybody shake hands and just be gentleman, Problems solved between FM fans & Pac fans..

From what I've been observing Manny is afraid of Floyd. Manny gets very uncomfortable when he's asked about Floyd. I believe Floyd when he says he agreed to everything and signed for the fight but Manny didn't. Bob Arum has been promoting for a very long time and has the most of the press in his pocket. Floyd would eat Manny's ass up. Why do people think.Manny doesn't even wanna face Marquez again.

I agree with that. Pac and Floyd are both being a lil egotistical and selfish by continuing to talk about each other but not addressing one another personally about the fight. Looks like they are more about using both their names to help promote themselves. If these guys really wanted to fight each other then it would have happened a loooong time ago. My opinion is that, Pac didn't want it first time now Mayweather doesn't want it because he is not trying to fight anymore. I would give anything just to see these two face to face.

Floyd would beat Pac and beat him bad and I'm willing to bet all of my points on that if the fight happens.

It could certainly happen that way or Floyd could get caught with a shot and end up asleep on the ring apron. Too bad we probably won't get to see how it pans out, the way things continue to happen..

Nah, Pac couldn't even do that to a reluctant Mosley. Pac has been looking dominate against come forward fighters but once they show some movements and angles then he looks a lil lost because Pac's whole strength is when a fighter tries to pressure him and that gives him the advantage because of his speed. If you don't give him nothing by being the aggressor then you can pretty much counter the hell out of him. It is a shame if this fight doesn't happen but if they don't ever fight, then we know that we have to blame both fighters and more so Bob Arum for being a greedy, old, bitter, prick.
