???Was Joe Fraziers' left hook the best ever????

Smokin Joe's left hook was lethal, he was one of the only men to put Ali on his back with it in their first fight. With that said was/is Frazier's left hook the best ever? What other fighters posses/ed some of boxing's best left hooks?

Ray Robinson's left hook on Gene Fullmer is probably the best left hook I have ever seen.

i don't think it was the best ever though it was his most important weapon.

liston had a more powerful left hook. so did david tua. i like power.

in the lower weight classes....... tito's was awesome. oscar had a great one as well.

        Ruben Olivares
        Pipino Cuevas
        Gerry Cooney

Ones that tend to get underrated in recent years.

          Frzaier's is way up there.
His leaping left hook to Ali reminded me of Patterson's leaping LH to Johannson in their
3rd fight that caused the leg seizures.

Not saying Patterson's avg. LH was as good as Frazier's, but that one was incredible.

There's gotta be others. Didn't Tyson have a good one? Probably shorter and maybe quicker than Frazier's. Not saying it was necessarily more powerful.

It's hard to say whether it was the greatest of all-time because there are so many fighters with great left hooks. Jones, Tito, and Robinson come to mind along with Frazier.

But I think Frazier definitely had the most famous one and that's what he was known for.

When I think left hook, I think of Smokin' Joe.
