Chavez will win both fights, and then Pacquiao will challenge him for a record 9th division title at 155 lbs. All Top Rank, baby.

Secondly, Chavez vs Cotto at 160 is a decent fight, Chavez might be a Jr. but he is much bigger than his father and he is even bigger than Margarito. The size disparity in this fight makes up for the lack of experience and just overall fighting ability for Jr. Also, anyone saying Cotto should just challenge Sergio doesn't know their ass from their elbow. Cotto JUST moved up to 154, facing Sergio at 160 right now is suicide, at 160 at anytime I don't have Cotto beating Sergio. My question is that Sergio stated he would move down to 155 to face Cotto for the belt, since it came from his mouth I say Cotto should do it. However, if someone came to me and said 2 million for Sergio or 5 million for Chavez Jr, I'll take the easier fight for more money any day of the week. Also, all this is just filler till we got Cotto/Margarito II when that c*nts face actually works properly again. Everyone knows Bob is greedy as **** and thats the fight he wants to make because its the biggest fight in boxing behind pac/floyd.
Idiot? Chavez Cotto a decent fight, yeah you go pay 50 for this ****.
Yes Martinez got low balled by Arum. Arum offered Martinez 2 million for a PPV fight with Cotto, OK Cotto is the draw but consider this, Martinez was going to make the same on his HBO date of march 12th, no matter who he fought. Dibella wanted 5 million which is fair considering that Martinez vs Cotto at 155 for the Middlewieght title could sell a hell of a lot more than Cotto vs Mayorga. Cotto and Arum would have made a lot more money but Arum doesn't want Cotto to get KTFO. Cotto is a warrior but Arum doesn't want to lose a cash cow like Cotto.

Can you really not see this as an entertaining fight? Cotto can fight whoever the **** he wants and if Chavez jr has a belt is a big draw why not?

Cotto @ MW?!?...I dont know about that....on paper, its not a good look and he'll probably look horrible....but Jr. is a UNPROVEN/PROTECTED dude so I like Cotto over him all day....but ONLY Jr....the other dudes @ 160 is a problem for Cotto imo

This fight would be huge! In my eyes at least. I am a huge Cotto fan, and a big follower of JCC jr. Would be sad to see either lose the fight but I will still root for Cotto. although i would love to see Jr succeed and move on to even bigger mega fights.

A fight at MW is pushing it, the exception is Chavez for being the son of a Mexican legend and having a 0. Cotto won't find any of that where he's campaigned @ now so he's got to reach a little higher(I could care less about the title honestly). Not even a mexican can argue that. Soon as he gets the W it's simple, wait for Margarito and if that fight yields good results then a showdown with Martinez looms at 154 lbs for the winner. Assuming Cotto makes it past all of that then gets a second crack at Manny. Win win?
WIN WIN for both either way.

Your right to some extent but actually.....Carrying his fathers name means something when selling PPV's. Especially with a zero, a belt, and a name like cotto as an apponent.

              Capish? CAPISH!

Cotto's only apponent at MW should be Julio cesar chavez jr. I also like a cotto/martinez match up but at 154.

Arum offered Martinez 2 million for a PPV not counting buys and thats getting low balled? HBO overpaying for Martinez doesn't mean Arum should it is that simple. HBO paid Khan, Bradley, Alexander, and Berto a million dollars each, not ONE of them with the exception of Khan has ever brought in close to a million dollar gate. Stop sucking the HBO c*ck and realize that Martinez getting 2 million for Cotto is more than fair. I mean FFS Sergio hasn't even been on PPV and Cotto has near 3 million buys, he DESERVES to be low balled get a grip.

As far as Cotto vs Mayorga that only happened because HBO turned down Manny which is ****** no matter who he fights. Let HBO keep their "we only put good fights on PPV" the same company who brought us JMM/Diaz 2 and Mosley/Mora on PPV, oh yea they are so much better than Arum. STFU HBO are idiots Showtime is eating up the $25 million they got from Manny and HBO is stuck giving us fights where less than 1,000 people show up to watch the fights then pay the fighters seven figures. You're not even worth arguing with because you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
