The first five rounds of Cotto-Pacquiao were competitive toe to toe rounds. None of them came close to winning but Cotto gave by far the best fight out of all of them.

Margarito hit Pac flush on the body(appeared to be the liver) with a power punch.. It buckled his knees and sent him back peddaling. It definitely wasn't part of Roach's game plan.

You think he was working on letting pacquiao punch himself out by sacrificing his face right? A very brave strategy.

Pac's glove got caught on the ring which lead to that double punch on the liver, but Pac recovered pretty good IMO.

He did recover fairly well. And although it wasn't even a kd, it was one of the closest moments anyone has had recently in terms of success against Pacquiao.

You have to admit first five rounds of Cotto-Pacquiao were competitive.

Pacquiao face after Cotto fight tells you everything.

What's funny is after this fight Cotto was looking a little washed up considering his loss to Margarito as well. However, after looking at how everyone else has fared against Pac.. Cotto didn't do bad at all.
