Who came closest to beating Manny Pacquiao? Official Thread!

Since Pac/Jmm 2, which was a very close and competitive fight. I think the answer to this question is somewhat debatable. So, who do you think gave the best showing and came closest to beating Manny Pacquiao? Poll to follow, please discuss!

Miguel Cotto. If he didn't get knocked down and mentally destroyed he could've possibly won that fight if he stuck to boxing.

I think the key moments in this analysis are really Cotto boxing Pacquiao in rd 1 of their fight and the round in which Margarito landed the body punch on Pacquiao along the ropes that sent Pac into momentary retreat. In terms of which more indicated closeness to victory is really a toss up..

Although Margarito came as close as anyone has to taking Pac out with the big body shot he landed.. Hard to imagine Pac not ultimately landing big shots on Cotto no matter how many times they fought.

Although I think it is true Cotto provided more blow for blow competitiveness. But can't it also be said that if Clottey threw more punches he might have made for a close fight? The few he did throw did damage.

It might be easiest to say who came the furthest from winning.. Mosley. Even Ricky may have had a better chance considering he clearly wanted and tried to win.
