Yes but for the purposes of this thread which was a fan attempting to say Pacquiao still gets owned, total dollars does count. Now if Mayweather has had two fights in the span of however many years, he's just not making nearly as much money.

And my post simply states Pacquiao is pulling in more actual dollars, so while saying one gate is worth more than another may be true. It's not worth much if the fighter with the higher gate never fights and has few if any endorsement deals.

Even if they were to fight and Mayweather earned the higher portion of the split, it would not be enough to compensate and make Mayweather the overall higher paid athelete.

what floyd takes home, pac can only equal by fighting 3 to 4 times a year.

the point your emphasized wouldnt merit any leverage in negoatiations b.c what matter at the end of the day is who can generate more money in one fight and floyd does that. its been proven and its factual which cant be argued...even by ******* nation

To further explore this thread.. I think to really have a single answer as to which is better. Being the higher paid fighter or making the most money, it would have to be clarified. This thread however did not do that.

True in terms of overall what they bring in it does depend on how much one fights. To me that is talking apple and maybe not oranges something like a pomegranate though. Now at the end of the day what you make overall is very important more important in fact but in terms of comparison averages to me rule the day.

And it is still silly to compare the two guys who are far and away above everyone else currently speaking in terms of what they bring to the table in term of American appeal.
