Yup. If you are a combination puncher, you are generally more fluid with your combinations when you are lighter... quicker, and more reflexive.

If you are a defensive minded fight, who likes to slip punches, you usually can do so easier when you are lighter...

The less weight you have to move around, the easier and quicker you are able to do so.

JMM looked horrible because he fought out of his element. He is supposedly a counter puncher but he tried to force the action because Floyd doesnt want to.

In Pac's case, JMM will resort to his counter punching because Pac will initiate the action. "STYLES make FIGHTS"

Come on man. Pac weighs in around 148 fight night. Like I said if Marquez is smart he comes in at his best weight around 144. What's the big deal? Pac's been fighting dudes on average 10 pounds heavier than him and he gets criticized, now you still gonna criticize him for being what 4 pounds heavier this time than his opponent? Not to mention some mother****ers actually want him to fight the MW champ?

That's what I don't get? Let's say Marquez is fighting a bigger opponent. He is a HOF/ATG fighter, so why can't he overcome something like that? Manny does it all the time and so did alot of other great fighters.

With that said, what I don't get is why are so many people crying about it when Marquez and Berstein have both stated they are the same size and weight isn't an issue.

Those individuals aren't crying so why are people in this thread whining about it? Dudes kill me with all this complaining.

I didnt say that. It was one of the reasons. Ive stated in my previous post that JMM and his team made a mistake by bulking up unnecessarily to increase JMM's power which sacrificed his speed and technique.

In addition to that, JMM fought a great counter puncher in Floyd which complicated matter.

In Pacquiao, he wont have to find him because Pac will be in his face the whole time.

It that difficult to understand?
