Why would you risk taking a fight that could spoil a Pacquiao fight?
Of course Khan is dangerous.. I see it as a 50-50 fight.
What fighter would take that risk, if given the opportunity to fight Pacquiao?
Almost every fighter in boxing would either take a tune up fight to prepare for Pacquiao, or just wait.
If Bradley decided not to fight Khan and instead fight Zab Judah, I would fully agree with you, it's a duck job.
But if he's given an opportunity to fight a higher profile, more dangerous fight, for more money... how can you possibly knock that?
While we love the sport, this is a fighters JOB. Anyone who watched Shane get his a$$ beat by Floyd and Manny needs to understand what happens when you make bad business decisions early in your career. If Bradley fights Zab its no difeerent then Khan not fighting Prescott in his last match.Comment

Wow for once khan's calling someone out makes a change from him avoiding dangerous fights. If Bradeley chickens out khan should fight Prescott to prove that getting spanked was no flukeComment

I thought HBO guaranteed BOTH Bradley and Alexander 1.3 Million in their next fights no matter who they fought? I know it sucks, but shouldn't Bradley fight a non-threat for that 1.3M, then go on to fight Khan for another million? At least that's what I heard.Comment

Even if you were confident in winning, but you knew if the chance happened that you did lose... you would lose the biggest fight in the world.. versus, just waiting and definitely getting the Pacquiao fight... then who wouldn't wait?
I don't understand why you can't see that?
I am being realistic here... none of these moves you suggest that should happen, nobody else would take them. Nobody would risk losing a Pacquiao fight, confident in your abilities or not.
I don't think Bradley is the biggest money fight for almost anyone, unless they're outside the top 10.Comment

Bradley is guaranteed $1.2 mil for his next opponent on HBO. If Khan is only offering 100k more than that, it makes TERRIBLE business sense to take the fight now. Fight a lesser opponent or wait and fight Manny for 2-3 times that much.

What does that mean? It means he needs to make the smartest possible decisions to make the most money for his future.
Now I don't care about another mans wallet, but I can in fact reason, and look at the situation and understand what a fighter might make certain decisions for the betterment of his career.
I don't condone ducking, in this case... a shot at Pacquiao is the opposite of ducking... it's an even harder fight than Khan.
While I think Bradley will be game, and competitive... I don't give him a chance at winning... but I'm not Bradley.Comment

Anything can happen in boxing and everybody knows that.

But he wants to unify the division at 140. Hes confident of winning, Bradley isnt. Its that simple.Comment

Don't care. Bradley's boring. That head is always a factor.
Khan/Zab will be explosive. Two fundamentally flawed fighters going at it. I'm an Amir fan even with his recent evolution into a bit of wanker but Zab could realistically spark him out - of course he could!Comment

Bradley wants to unify 140 as well.
But, if a shot at Pacquiao is a possibility, that takes precedence.
This is so obvious, why do I even have to write this.Comment

Yet he is willing to take the risk. Bradley is not.Comment
