yknow, over the past decade, pacquiao has surprised the boxing world again and again. I think he'd be no easy win for srr, srl, or hearns. pac has his moments, and i think last saturday was just not his day.

i dont think srr, srl, or hearns has ever faced a fighter like pacquiao. and i just wish i had a time machine so we can see these fantasy fights come true. but as they say, pac will never win a fantasy fight.

get real man, you think pac has power. let him feel the power of these guys, add the fact that they arent stationary fighters.

thankfully we won't be seeing as many ridiculous threads about how MP would beat SRR, SRL and Hearns. These guys would decapitate MP, absolutely box his ears off.....if Shane was younger he would have done it.

Frankly i think this fight reveals just how well MP has been matched in his last four or five fights.

Now Manny might still beat Floyd at this stage of their careers, but i think in a lot of peoples eyes Floyd's chances look a whole lot better after watching this fight.

The only problem for Floyd is catching a few similar punches that Shane also took and then getting finished off.

My opinion about this fight hasn't changed. If Manny doesn't put Floyd away in the first 4 or 5 rds (or really beat him up) then the fight will get progressively worse for MP the longer it goes as Floyd finds his angles, sets up his distance and starts timing him with precision counters.

After watching this fight i am almost sure Roach and Arum will do everything they can to avoid Mayweather, even if Floyd comes out and explicitly states his intention to make the fight happen.

Pac-Shane is just Pac-Shane
a meaningless stay busy fight where 1 guy ran for 9 rounds
has no bearing on Pac-Floyd or Pac vs anybody else

Pac would do well against SRL. Even Floyd senior did OK for 10 rounds.

Why are people so fearful of Pac getting so much credit they have to start threads about how badly he would get beat by fights that wont happen? THese haters are bit more reserved with their predictions when the opponent might actually have to fight Pac one day.
