Just watched SSM vs MP and....

thankfully we won't be seeing as many ridiculous threads about how MP would beat SRR, SRL and Hearns. These guys would decapitate MP, absolutely box his ears off.....if Shane was younger he would have done it.

Frankly i think this fight reveals just how well MP has been matched in his last four or five fights.

Now Manny might still beat Floyd at this stage of their careers, but i think in a lot of peoples eyes Floyd's chances look a whole lot better after watching this fight.

The only problem for Floyd is catching a few similar punches that Shane also took and then getting finished off.

My opinion about this fight hasn't changed. If Manny doesn't put Floyd away in the first 4 or 5 rds (or really beat him up) then the fight will get progressively worse for MP the longer it goes as Floyd finds his angles, sets up his distance and starts timing him with precision counters.

After watching this fight i am almost sure Roach and Arum will do everything they can to avoid Mayweather, even if Floyd comes out and explicitly states his intention to make the fight happen.

well we also have to be fair to him. Those guys are naturally alot bigger. I even dont think its fair when people compare Floyd to them in fights. If you want to compare then do it in a P4P sense but not straight up

respect your opinion, but i think all three have easy nights with MP, especially Hearns who KO's him inside of four rounds.

The Mosley that fought ODLH (or even that version of ODLH) would beat Manny at 147......and iv'e said this before.

i agree 100%, which is why i find it silly when rabid (and ******ed) MP cult members make ridiculous assertions that MP would beat them. These 3 would absolutely crush MP.

Manny looked better when he jumoped on Shane and upped the pace, when Mosley dictated the pace and they boxed a little slower he didn't look so good. He was thinking too much and it slowed him down.....if he does that against Mayweather and fights at Floyd's favoured pace and tries to box he will get beaten soundly imho.

Additionally Shane's balance isn't even close to Floyd's. It was when Manny upped the pace and he had to move faster his feet got tangled all over the place and he got hit more.
