145 is a ***** move by pacquiao, who usually weighs around 144 on weigh in night anyways.

Marquez probably wont worry about the extra pound or two, he should train for 143-44 ish

catchweight 145 basically means you cannot go over 145, so marquez if he wants, can go in at 141, then as much as he wanna weigh on fight nite...people are screwed in the mind that catchweight means it has to be at that weight, when infact, its basically a limit, like 147 is the max limit for welterweight...145 will be the max limit for marquez/pac

eating a meal (pizza) & gaining water weight before the bout has nothing to do with actually training & having the physical frame for welterweight. JMM has little to NO experience at welterweight. punches don't FEEL the same at welterweight vs lightweight.

Well then why doesn't he weigh in at 135 like he normally does. 145 is just a limit, you can come in under if you want. Fight night they will be within 2-3 lbs of each other.

This is no a catch weight for Pac. He normally weighs in around 143/144 anyway. Marquez is the one putting himself at a disadvantage by moving from 135 to 145. He has no chance with such a huge weight gain.

Wouldn't Bradley be a better fight at this stage? But of course he's young and undefeated and that doesn't fit the characteristics of the people Pac fights. Look how soon after the Mosley fight they sent Marquez a contract.

We all know that Marquez is a great fighter. We also know that to be at his best, he needs to stick to 135. He was at 142, officially, against Floyd. He can't make 145 without being bloated.

That was back then. By now, Marquez gained some weight. And besides, he can stay low as 135 if he wants to, there aint no rules about that.

Marquez has turned down the initial offer from Top Rank for a 3rd Pac fight.....Go to Fight News to see....To be honest there's really no worthy fight for either Pac or May except the one we've all been waiting for...And based on the most recent performances from Ortiz and Pacquiao, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mayweather-Pacquiao happen next....I think this whole thing has reached a point where the longer this gets drawn out the less interest and money will be made..Don't think Mayweather or Pacquiao doesn't know this..
