    Dariusz Michalczewski is a damn hard name to pronounce, even for some1 with Polish heritage in them like myself. as much as i like this guy, i have never heard is name being said before, ive only seen his name in print.

            could you ask him in polish why he demanded parity to fight roy jones, in effect ducking him and why he never fought in the united states, the world capital of boxing?

              i dont speak polish... not yet anyway.

              he didnt duck roy jones, RJ ducked him along with many other fighters.

              he never fought in the US because he thought that the US judges ****** at their jobs, which in fact is very very true.

                DM fought a lower caliber of competition than RJ. The US judges suck at their job? And how about the dozens of fighters that got robbed due to german judging to german-based fighters? Besides, in a match between RJ and DM, there would have been international judges as well. No, the real reason that DM didn't fight in the US was because german judging was biased in favour of him, and in the US he would have gotten beaten by the likes of julio gonzales (who defeated him in germany).

                  Michalczewski wanted NOTHING to do with fighting Roy.

                  He didn't come the US, because he was the benifit of many poor German decisions and reffing calls, and didn't want to leave that.

                  The one time he was in the US was sitting ring side at the Jones vs Hill fight.

                  It's no coincidence he tucked his tail between his legs and never came back after seeing that fight.

                    [[[DM fought a lower caliber of competition than RJ. The US judges suck at their job? And how about the dozens of fighters that got robbed due to german judging to german-based fighters?]]]
                    =========================

                    DM was a LH only. Roy was a supermiddle/LH. DM's LH comp is very comparable to Roy and they beat many of the same fighters. DM just fought more LHs than did Roy. As far as robberies goes, Euro fighters are robbed here just as often. Check out the Sturm/Oscar fight. Lewis fans claim he was robbed against Holy in their first fight. Hell, just look at 4 decades of Don King promoted fights if you want to look at the godfather of robbery.

                    As far as DM not fighting Roy, well of course they should have. DM was trying to line up Roy the last few years of his career, even watching some of his fights, but Roy refused to mention his name.

                    Moreover, DM was making more than Roy in Germany. The obvious location for money purposes was Germany, not the US. Fact is Roy failed to face about a dozen top fighters in his career and had a history of walking out of signed contracts he approved. It's no biggie. After Roy suffers his 3 consecutive KO loss, he will forever be stamped with a glass jaw.
