shiiit fight. but pac has no other options other than sergio, which i think is asking a bit much. not that much sold on ortiz too.

if pacs other option is martinez, then why isnt martinez other options include ward or foch at super middleweight? pac will be outweighed by about 30 lbs on fight nite vs martinez...while martinez will be outweighed by only about 10 against either ward or froch on fight nite

if you are ok with a 30 lb difference, why not have martinez be the one with a 30 lb disadvantage and have him fight a light heavyweight/cruiserweight that will weight atleast 200 lbs

Pacquiao will definitely hav the advantage at that weight. Marquez is a natural 135lb fighter he is at his best in that weight. Pacquiao is now a natural welterweight and is at his best. In fact I believe Pacquiao has trouble making 140. I mean if ur ripped the way Pacquiao is at his supposed walk around weight then ur not going to be able to loose to much weight. So Pacquiao at his best training his body to fight between 140 to 150 and Marquez at his best training his body to fight between 130 to 140. Anything more or anything less each fighter looses something. If the catchweight is between 143 - 145 then the advantage is for Pacquiao regardless of wut they weigh fightnight because it comes down to the way they trained to achieve peak conditioning. Marquez wants the fight he is willing to do it at any weight luckily he gets the catchweight but this fight should hav happened a long time ago at 135 too bad Pacquiao didn't want it then. Who ever says Marquez is doing it only for the money Marquez has been chasing Pacquiao way before he brought anything to the table. Should be a good fight only because Marquez believes he already beat Pacquiao before and believes he can do it again.

some people show no respect sometimes, floyd makes marquez go up to 144 actually 146. but if pac fights marquez at anything over 140 hes taking advantage. on fight night marquez will weigh anywhere between 145-148. on fight night manny will weigh 145-148. dont really see the big deal making the fight at 147. manny is not naturally big like mayweather so fighting at 147 is not going to be a big advantage for manny like it was for mayweather. besides the limit is 147 that means marquez can weigh 140 if he wants. some people are just haters.

I would prefer that catch weight to be place at 140-141, pac has more advantage because of his speed. at 145 is lacking more speed and he looks bulky on mostly fight.

A) Don't listen to anything Koncz says about fight negotiations because he's proven many times in the past he has no clue what actually goes on. He said the same thing about the Clottey fight- 145 catchweight, contradicting what Arum and Roach said and he later recanted. Still waiting on the Pacquiao-Marquez fight to be announced for Singapore. If Arum or Marquez Promotions issues a statement about the weight, listen to them.

B) What a pointless CW that would be. I could understand 140-142, but Manny has yet to surpass 145 and doesn't like coming in heavy since it affects his speed. So why would that even be necessary?
