BOxers learn from losses and cant assume Hatton is the only boxer in history who dont gain from a loss. That is too presumptious.

The aura of invincibility was gone that is all haven lost the zero on his record. But hatton had nearly lost already to not really have that aura anyway.
When Roach says hatton wasnt the same he is talking about the aura only and Hatton wasnt the same in that he wasnt unbeaten anymore.
how was hatton better??please explain you and your most of your friends here say floyd sr was a **** trainer and training him for an orthadox fighter.

Hatton never had a great trainer anyway when he fought Floyd. Before Hatton actually fought Pac he said he was in the best form ever.

He had no defense against Floyd anyway, so how would he be worse against Pac? Hatton didnt listen to Senior during the fight, but dont make him worse. He might have fought a bad fight, and yes he got punished in 2 rounds.

Floyd wouldnt ever finish Hatton in 2 rounds even if hattons arms were down at his sides.

hatton was a wrecking machine with 100% confidence coming into the floyd fight. unbeaten, his chin not cracked, a helluva fighter. its the floyd fight. i was rooting for hatton in the floyd fight because of his heart.

For sure Floyd. Hatton had just come off an impressive win over castillo. Confidence was sky high and to be honest he did quite well and could have done much better were it not for the referee's constant inteference.

Although Pacquiao fought an awesome fight against Hatton, and Hatton must have trained extremely hard by the time the fight took place Hatton's career was on a downward slope. If you don't believe me watch the Lazcano fight.

Pac had only one fight at 135, moved up two divisions above and fought Oscar at 147. After the Oscar fight at 147 he moved down to Hatton's best weight where he was actually undefeated, which is at 140 and Pac ko him in 2.

C'mon, Hatton went on to beat some good competition after that fight. He was by no means "done."

147 is far from floyds best weight...
