Hatton was the lineal champ at 140 after he beat Kosta. Mayweather was scared to fight him at that weight. At 140 Hatton would've KO'd Mayweather and Pacquiao send the lineal 140 champ into retirement.

To this day Pac is still the lineal 140 champ.

I think Roach thinks Pac is the GOAT, but he dont neccesarily want him to be. Roach has favourite fighters he grew up watching. Roach is just Pacs trainer.

Pacs win is better as he didnt have a ref like Cortez helping him out. And he beat Hatton in 2 rounds.

Floyd fought the unbeaten Hatton. Pac beat the better hatton. Beating an unbeaten hatton dont mean you beat the best hatton.

BOxers learn from losses and cant assume Hatton is the only boxer in history who dont gain from a loss. That is too presumptious.

The aura of invincibility was gone that is all haven lost the zero on his record. But hatton had nearly lost to collazo already to not really have that aura anyway.
When Roach says hatton wasnt the same he is talking about the aura only and Hatton wasnt the same in that he wasnt unbeaten anymore.
