At this stage of their respective careers? Absolutely. That is actually very sad though for two reasons; one is that Pac and Arum are fighting another 40 year old fighter who has obviously seen better days. Marquez is not shot but he is nothing compared to his prime self. Second, Pac is still just in his early thirties and in his prime years.

It is this, and this only, that will be the ruining of Marquez. He just doesn't have the speed, reflexes, defense and skill that he once had. Moving up two divisions, just like he had to for Mayweather, is also going to hamper him greatly.

Pac is not a small guy anymore. Marquez can still easily make 135 or 130. Pac couldn't if his life depended on it. He is a true 140-147 fighter now and it shows in all his fights.

It's sad because people will genuinely think it had something to do with Pac suddenly being ten times greater than he is and has been which is just foolish and silly. Marquez isn't close to the fighter he has been.

He's 40 years old, moving up two divisions and well past his prime years now. It goes without saying that Pac is going to win. The pathetic part is people in NSB think it's two prime guys going at each other in the rubber match and that it will show once and for all who the greater fighter between the two is.

It will only shows that one is smaller, older, slower, fatter and past his great years while the other is bigger, faster, stronger, in his best weight and in his prime years still.
