If you engage with Manny, he will hurt you.

Now, anyone at 147 who wants to throw punches will get hurt, or run, skip, shell up and lose the round.

I can not even see Mayweather consistently tagging Manny over 12 rounds without getting hit back just as much.

If Mayweather fights Pac the way he fights Shane, by holding his ground, then IMO Pac has the better chance to win. Pacquiao likes a stationary target for sure.

If Mayweather chooses to box defensively, and use counters, then it does play into his hands more, but Pacquiao throws shots that have power and sting, and they help win rounds, so Mayweather needs to be at his best.

Seriously it just takes one round before he ruins you and takes over the fight.

                    Barrera 1 -2nd round.
                    Morales 2 -6th round
                    Cotto - 4th round
                    Margarito - 4th round
                    Mosley -3rd round
