It is so funny that people say Manny looked like trash and what not. That says tons about the guy when people expect him not only to win EVERY FIGHT but he is expected to win by KO. Otherwise, even if he scores a KD and wins a shutout, that in itself is just as bad as a loss. So for a one dimensional slugger that Floyd could easily dispatch of in 3 rounds (as I have seen in some threads today) to have these expectations set for him......that just shows me that people realize just how good he is- whether or not the people making these statements would admit it or not.
agree completely with the second paragraph.

its funny how people start discussions as if pacquiao lost or the fight was close.

said it on another thread that you know a fighter is great is if he didn't lose a round and knocked his opponent down, and people say he looks like *****.

I don't see what was so impressive about Floyd's win, he did just enough to convincingly win rounds without taking more risk than necessary rounds 3-12, rinse & repeat.
He didnt take risks? He took unnecessary risks the rest of the fight. He stalked Mosley until the fight was over.

Mayweather can counter pac as much as he wants....but he aint gonna be knocking him out

So pac will run straight thru mayweather to land some bombs....

            thats the difference
Oh he'll run straight through, alright. Straight through a check hook and into a ring post ala Ricky Hatton. Might even fly straight through the ropes and land on Jim Lampley, killing Max Kellerman.

            • this fight showed me why Al Bernstein if freakin correct. Floyd needs a KO to win. That clown is not gonna be dancing around and winning rounds by not hurting Pac. Pac will tag him. He tagged a running Mosley on bad legs. He needs to knock Pacquiao the **** out with a shot he's never absorbed in his entire life.

Spin all you want about How Pacquiao did this and Pacquiao did that. The fact of the matter is Pacquiao look like complete **** against Mosley. To the point where the crowd that was in attendance for this fight booed and walk out of this fight. He failed to meet expectations.

Pacquiao looked and fought Frustrated. He never seem in complete control of this fight; To the point that anybody who watched this fought could notice that Pacquiao fought this fight in complete fear of being countered by Mosley right hand.

It was apparent from round 2 that Mosley was only there for a pay check, and Pacquiao still could not get him out of there. All he had to do was pick up the pace and take the risk necessary to Knock him out BUT HE COULD NOT DO IT. He excuse was Mosley ran from him. Well Cotto ran from you too Pacquiao and you knock him out.
btw, coming to last night fight. Mosley had not WON A FIGHT IN 2 YEARS! And was 39 Years Old!

Question: Why did people boo and walk out of last night fight?

                COMPARISIONS TO MAYWEATHER
So what you will about Mayweather performance against Shane, except for in round 2, Mayweather never seemed frustrated, confuse, and timid to attack Mosley. As a matter of fact. The impressive thing about that victory was how Mayweather completely control, and dominate Mosley to point where ****m Richardson threatened to stop the fight. Not once did ****m threaten to do that in this fight.

Pacquiao on the other hand had the luxery of watching and studying Mayweather performance against Shane, and learning from Mayweather’s mistakes. Mayweather did not have that same luxary. Freddie Roach is supposedly is such a great trainer, but it is obviously now why they are fighting Mayweathers left-overs. It is because he is stealing Mayweather’s blueprints to success of beating the opponent. And when Pacquiao fights Mayweather’s leftovers that capitalize on the mistakes they made against Mayweather, and minimize the strengths they showed against Mayweather. Which is not a bad thing. However, Not since 2008 have we seen Pacquiao look so confuse, frustrated, and gun shy as we saw last night.

Question: Now that we can compared and contrast the 2 wins, which win was more impressive Mayweather's or Pacquiao's

                MOSLEY'S JAB
Mosley was able to keep Pacquaio at bay with his weak excuse for a jab.
Mosley confused Pacquiao just simply circling around him. As a result Pacquiao never establish an CONSITANT rhythm in his attack. He had burst of combination, and spent the rest of his time getting frozen by Mosley’s jab.

Question: What about Mosley's Jab kept Pacquiao at distance?

                SO WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?
According to team Pacquiao, had leg cramps, over-trained a little bit , dehydrated, stiffness in his left front calf which happened even in his first fight with Juan Manuel Marquez.

All the excuses do not take away from the simple truth that Pacquiao has trouble with Movement. Add to the Pacquiao footwork last night was remarkably terrible last night. WHY?

He came in a straight lines, very few in and out combinations, and feinted more than a fat ***** in heat.
ONE REASON: Mosley’s JAB, and Mosley counter RIGHT HAND!

                Mosley Jab controlled the distance.
Mosley Threat of his right hand Control Pacquiao!

Question: After Pacquiao's performance against Mosley, Do you think Last Night performance did more Harm than Good?
                WRONG...

                it is not mannys fault.

Mosley didnt entertain all the viewers...

Mosley's fault and he didnt fight as pac wanted too..

pacs way of fighting now is different.. he can attack/engage and def too.

Mosley gone back pedalling.. and he dont want to take that what pacs got.

Mosleys a MONEY fight and it was disgusting fight.....

anyway look at PBF vs Baldomir it is more T_T then last night.

                • Last I checked Floyd never went to the ground in his fight with Shane and ate a way harder shot and still won the round, while the drug addict was down and scared to come in on Shane. Only thing I found suspect was the fact that Shane seemingly let Manny off the ropes every single time. The hand shaking was an outrage, one shake per round is sufficient.

Floyd did NOT win round 2 and Manny went down as a result of having his foot stepped on and pushed. Check the replay and refer to Kenny Bayless's apology after the fight when he personally told Pac's team that it was a bad call and apoligized.

Get Floyd's black balls out your mouth.
