I think Manny has improved a lot since his first Barerra fight but I'd say Martinez is at least a level above Pacquiao in that department.

Mayweather has no chance, he will throw less punches than Shane did, let's remember Money May is a more defensive fighter

PACMAN WILL BEAT HIM JUST WITH ACTIVITY, AND WILL WIN A COMFORTABLE AND BORING (THANKS TO THE SLICK STYLE OF MONEY) UD.

Mayweather is not old, he is on top of his game, and he can pull the trigger.

DUDE, it is a little silly being so surprised.

Team Pacquiao were well-aware of how much Shane had faded.

Now do you understand why Pac is copping so much flak for fighting faded old men ?

I think you will find that fight would be a one-sided decision alright

FWIW I was actually impressed with Manny's defense last night, and Mosley had a hard time landing on him.
in *****s world that make pac slicker than floyd coz they always believe on numbers dont lie
but their too bias to accept that LOLLLLL

the stats prove that pac threw 2 to 300 punches less then usual. (700) this is mayweather numbers. mayweather throws 6 to 700 punches each fight. this is BAD news for pac......mayweather would cut his numbers even LOWER then what shane was able to do.
Exactly. I have always said that Pac's output will plummet vs Mayweather, that is plainly obvious. I didn't see the fight, but I find it a little hard to believe that Shane kept Manny on the end of his jab.

What, that flicky / pokey thing?

Is that really what happened guys ?

Pac was literally running at him
When your speed/reflexes/timing have faded, it becomes harder to pull the trigger. When you are on top of your game it is more instinctive.

Nuthugging at it's finest....Marquez won more rounds total in his two fights against Pac - fact, check it out. Morales whupped him fair and square in their first meeting, and even turned southpaw in the 12th to prove he could beat him at his own game. For your sake, you'd better pray Floyd - Pac never comes off....I don't think you could handle the severe depression that obviously awaits you.

Shane in no way landed more than 50 punches in that fight.

lol @ comments regarding 'manny's defence'....

the truth is manny would have been knocked out a 1000 times if he wasn't a southpaw... it's as simple as that...

his defence is his southpaw stance, it's what saves him...

what's all this nonsense about head movement.... yeah sure he tries a lame tyson impression when he's at a distance but when he's in range his head doesn't move at all...

the most alarming thing was pacquiao lack of movement yesterday, now apparently he had leg cramps which would explain that, but he was poor and i'll go as far as saying marquez beats him for a third time if they meet.... 147, 154, 160 whatever you want... marquez knows manny inside out...

shane wouldn't let his right hand go, he had plenty of opportunities to do so... yeah he seemed to jab relatively well but his jab didn't really serve as a weapon and pretty much became a defensive tool in keeping manny at range.... floyd's jab isn't so kind....

shane's shot, he's been shot, he was shot before mayweather and after mayweather there was surely no doubt... shane couldn't adjust to really land anything significant so he waited, and eventually accepted his fate....
