Is Pacquiao vs. Marquez going to be HBO or Showtime fight?

I wonder if Pacquiao vs. Mosley hits a homerun on the ppv buys if they will continue with Showtime and try and capitalize with the CBS promotion or what will happen. I had pros and cons about Showtime but at least Top Rank was thinking outside the box and tried something new.

Stick to HBO, 24/7 knows how to hype people up for fights. Fight Camp 360 does not.

This fight is more trash than the Mosley fight.

At least we knew Mosley had the power to get a KO.

Marquez doesn't have **** at 140 and up.

If Katsidis could catch Marquez and drop him, how the fck is Marquez going to take punches from a WW Pacquiao?

It doesn't matter who markets the fight. Marquez lost twice already and has kissed the canvas on 4 occasions.

The ppv buys might surprise you.

Honestly, it would probably depend on the numbers Pac/Shane do. If it does better than FBF/Shane then obviously uncle Bob will stick to Showtime. If it flops then obviously he runs back to HBO.

All that promotion for a dud of a fight. I guess we fell for Mosley's old tricks again.

He's not, but hey at least well see someone actually try and fight Pacquiao right? I mean two of his last three opponents have simply just mailed it in after feeling his punching power.

I have nothing against Showtime, but HBO does a better job IMO. I think it's very likely that they'll stay on Showtime though.

all depends on what hbo proposes.

it's not like pac permanently left hbo.

he just went with the better showtime offer.

if cbs doesn't give pac-jmm 3 the cbs coverage it did offer for this fight......who knows?

hbo threw a ton of money at top rank to get the mosley fight. they lost because they couldn't give the extras cbs did.

now if hbo can counter with say someting on TNT and TBS and CNN (hbo's sister networks)

now that could get pac-jmm 3.

I thought 360 ratings were 4 million on average

while 24/7 ratings were 300,000 for Pac v Margo.
