I was rooting for Arce but I never expected the kind of performance he showed yesterday.

Arce fought with a desire to win and got the win but to overlook Vasquez's lack of amateur experience and the fact that the guy started fighting pro at 21 years old, is just silly. For the "trainer" in this thread... who wants to pretend this is not an issue in a young fighter's career against a seasoned guy like Arce with 55 fights when they are the 1st to cry about how Vargas was pushed too fast is hilarious.

And let's stop crying wolf mexico. You have glue sniffers in your camp that cannot refrain from calling Puerto Rican's "****s" out of nowhere and you wanna act like victims when somebody reminds you of your issues? Seems like the genius is on to his 3rd account in the past 2 weeks.

Your maturity level as a group in some threads is sad. Learn to take your victories with class. I think it's time to purge your group of the idiots who are still playing the name-calling games of 3 months ago. I was impressed with Arce he looked like a fresh fighter at the weight and he used his experience and heart to get the win, Props to Vasquez too for fighting as hard as he could and i think this loss was a good learning experience for him.

make a rematch it was a good fight but i didnt like the tackles of arce kept pushing wv2 into the ropes and they almost fell out a couple of times for that great win for mexico you bastards keep winning props to you great win

First off great win for Arce, WV2 is good but he shiuld have known to stick to boxing, Arce is a ***ing brawler and a beast. Second, sorry dude - our people kicked the US Navys ass out of La Isla years ago after trying for so long. Third, our flag was originay way different but we ACCEPTED the flag we have now from an artist workng with the Puerto Rican section of the Cuban Revolutionary Party during a period of great unity between the two Islands; when we were both fighting for independence from Spain. We have our own **** bro look it up, I actually like the old one better, still see it out at the parade each year too.

interseting thing is both steve molitor & vazquez talked about their next opponent before they defended & beat their current opponent.molitor beat ndlouvu twice before getting beat by a hungry fighter but he talked unification with vazquez.vazquez figured hed walk through arce...

If Arce doesn't get caught cheating. Its just so...argh! Just as you start liking a fighter, he gets beaten! He didn't fight anybody as good as Arce before, thats the problem.

WV2 never fought anybody even half as good as this guy. Look how he won his vacant title. Beating a guy moving up two weight classes. He showed heart but really Arce is past his prime and has been in many wars. Have you ever thought that maybe he just isn't that good. Imagine if that was Donaire in there with WV2. He would have Montiel'd him.

There is no evidence to suggest WV2 is a good fighter. Juanma lost but he has a resume that includes Ponce de Leon, a shot Rafa Marquez, Luevano etc. WV2 does not have a guy half as good as any of them on his resume.
