again, stop commenting on a subject you are highly ignorant about. Gus Johnson is a play by play guy. Not an analyst. There is a difference. I dont know how you guys do it in russia or the ukraine, but in the U.S. we have a play by play guy who has a great voice, verbiage, who describes the action & then you have the analysts who provide greater insight about the sport.

In basketball games you have your play by play guy then the analysts usually a ex head coach & player. Its like that in all sports commentary.

Hahaha! I live in Canada, so I get all the PPV's. And HE IS HORRIBLE. As a MMA and Boxing fan he is ruining the sport. Id rather have a ex boxer or coach instead of some hack who jumps sport to sport.

Thats why CBS let him go? Because he is the best? Hahaha, read the MMA forums, he is a plague. He might be okay for sports like Basketball and Football which everyone in the country knows but for Boxing and MMA? YOU NEED SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE SPORT. Even for a play by play guy.

This is why Showtime will always be behind HBO. Hell even Premier Sports has better play by play guy and analyst.

Uhh, you do know that Canada and US has the exact same TV stations? ABC,NBC,CBS,FOX,HBO,SHOWTIME, etc and I get all the feeds from west coast or east coast and even those lame channels in the Dallas area.

There isnt some magical diffirence between us. Its exact same feed that you are watching.

Gus is like an old school announcer. Back in the olden days of sports broadcasting, broadcasters never gave out opinions, they just called out the action.

Not saying Gus doesnt give his views here or there, but he's not about lecturing me on boxing every minute.

Gus is great on radio, on TV not as much because he's tries to hard to get people excited about something already exciting.

Gus is a bit of a homer clown though, but cant knock the guy too much, he's a cool dude
