How is Gus Johnson commenating tonight?

This guy is a hack and a fraud. He looks like a ******* in drag. He has 0 Fight IQ and he was laughed at in StrikeForce by everyone now he gets to call one of the biggest fights of the year? Who in the Showtime company is a closet **** that Gus slept with for the job? How is ANYONE hiring him to commentate on ANY sport? If you ever look at his MMA/Boxing interviews/casts he is just horrible.

Then I read an article about how CBS letting him go and they described him as "in demand"??? WHAT THE FAAAWK! How are these people getting jobs? I thought to be a fight commentator you actually had to know something about Boxing or MMA.

He is the Cecil Peoples of Commentators
He is the Michael Marley of Commentators.
He is the George W Bush of Commentators.

Kind of like George W Bush being a president. Mind Blowing.

settle the ****k down. you must not live in america. gus johnson is a play by play guy. the best in the business. If you live in america & follow sports you would know wtf you are talking about. He's not an analyst but a play by play guy. there is a difference.

I really think you either love his commentary or hate it me personally i love it Bernstein and Tarver make up for his lack of boxing knowledge when something big happens his calling adds to it

I love Gus Johnson in basketball and football. He's made for boxing, he just needs to find his place more and learn more about the sport. His enthusiasm to me is a good thing. I hate the Joe Buck's and Pat Summerall's of the commentating world with monotone voices and no excitement.

              He's getting better to me.

So you would rather have someone with NO knowledge of a sport actually do play by play? Hahahaha, get real, hes one of the biggest fakes there is, he will commentate on anything that gets him paid, he cant keep down a job in any sport. Better to know one thing and get good at it then suck at everything.

He will do anything for a buck.

he's got the voice, the presence, and takes good directions from the guy calling the shots back in trailer, thats why he is used, that and his experience.

personally i don't like his commentating, i find it rather forced and not natural, i think hardcore boxing peeps should be announcing/commentating fights, not guys that are just professional mouths for other sports....

i want the grit and grime of a real diehard boxing fan, with passion filled outbursts, and a keen intellect for the sport of boxing and it's possibilities.
