I've seen better sparring sessions...I'd be PISSED if I spent $50 or $60 on that...

This was one of the worst fights of the year hands down.

Here are just a few of my predictions on this since the fight was signed for Pac/Mosely:
Posted today
And I think it's that "mutual respect" that's going to keep Pacquiao from really trying to knock Shane out. Pacquio is becoming known for letting up towards the end of his fights and not really wanting to knock out his opponents - especially when they've already taken a lot of punishment. When I heard him say in one of the Fight Camp 360 episodes that he always prays that no one will get hurt, it kind of confirmed to me that he's not all that in to going for the knock out anymore. I just hope they aren't TOO "friendly" during this fight. Can't stand when they touch up gloves all the time and before and after every round. Save that **** for after the fight.

I can't see him going "for the kill" against Shane Mosely (they've been very friendly during this promotion) - It seems like when Pac is friendly with his opponents he is more content to playfully toy with them (more like competitive sparring) when they're hurt, then to go for the kill. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I can see Pac/Mosely being a little too friendly at times during the fight, by touching up gloves before and after each round (like Pac/Clottey - Mosely/Mora did). I can't stand that ****. Be friends AFTER the fight for goodness sakes.

But, apparently Bob Arum is good at what he does, because it seems like he's even got some of the hard core fans fooled in to thinking this will be a fight worth paying for. The worst thing is that these guys are going to be so nice and polite to each other - smiling and touching up gloves before and after each round.

Does anyone really expect a Pac - Mosley fight to be all that competitive? I see Shane chasing Pac for the first couple of rounds trying to knock his block off. When that doesn't happen after the first 3 rounds, he'll spend the rest of the night doing a Clottey and just trying to prove that he still can't be knocked out. Besides that... they are going to be WAAYYY to friendly, and friendly makes for boring fights. I'd rather see Pac and JMM with anamosity and trying to really prove who is better, rather than Pac and Mosely smiling at each other and tapping their gloves before and after each round like their sparring partners or something.
Well, you get the idea... I saw this whole thing coming, and it was worse then I thought it could possibly be. Still can't believe Pac touched gloves with Mosely after he KNOCKED HIM THE fk down instead of going in for the kill.
