I think Teddy has legitimate criticism. The problem is that in this era, the competition seems a bit weaker AND there is no strong resume that can be formed. The way I would compare is the post 1965 era vs pre 1965 era.
I consider the post 1965 a modern era to be vastly different and it's hard to compare to pre 1965 era resume with the frequency of fights and mandatories required to keep the title.Comment

Yeah, I think it was wrong that he made it seem like Pac was a nobody before he fought DLH. The casuals that saw that show might think that that was the whole Pac story. The casual fans don't get to hear the fact that Manny fought all three of the Mexican greats. He Has a win against all of them and everyone in boxing figured that he reached the ceiling of what a man of his size can do. They don't get the fact that Manny instead broke through that ceiling to kick some more ass.
What Teddy said was wrong, but it wasn't terrible. He just left off a really good or maybe the best part of the Pacquiao story. But I expect things like this from Teddy. Just be glad that it's not The Atlas Boxing Hall of Fame and his words aren't the only ones that matter in the sport.Comment

LOL... Is this your thread that u started, punk? Do you also own the Oj Simpson account? GTFOH. Teddy Atlas has mad credentials in the boxing game. He knows his history and knows the ins and outs. His points on 1st and 10 are valid and well made. I really don't sense the hatred he has in Pac. The original post made me laugh and just sounded like a "*******" sensitive thing to bring up.Comment
