Wow who gives a crap what Teddy Atlas thinks, are you that sad that you dwell on his opinions about Pac? You have way too much time on your hands, find a day job. Write an letter to ESPN if you're that affected.

he has been hating on pac ever since the email incident. i saw his act on first & 10 when they were talking about pac's legacy & he was just steady hating & discrediting pacquiao, talking about how pac's career was made by fighting oscar de la hoya & ricky hatton completely neglecting the 3 mexican hall of famers that he fought.
then during the weigh in, he was just steady ripping pacquiao & truly disrespectful towards shane mosley as a fighter in my opinion.
Like always, when it comes to Pacman, Scarface is always hatin'. It's probably because his bs email thingy got exposed.
The most Hank fought in a year was 27 (1937), and the total losses of his 27 opponents was a whooping 553, or an average of 20.5 losses per boxer. His last fight back in '37 was against a bum with a 0-2-0 record. If Pacman did that today, all the *****s, pachaters and the fans of the fighters Pacman defeated would've asked for his head in a silver platter. Scarface also made it sound like Hank's the only one who fought that many times a year at that time. Everybody freaking fights 30 to 50 times a year back then! It was a level playing field all things considered. He also tried to discredit Pacquiao's win over Cotto, Dela Hoya and Hatton saying those guys are either shopped worn, dehydrated and made to order, what about the bums who had gazillions losses on their record that Armstrong defeated? Everybody's shopped worn back in the day were they have to fight like every other week, dehydrates themselves to get fights at different weights for the dough and a bunch of them bums are made to order for Hank too.
Scarface's top 25 without Pacquiao is spotty too. How long has it been since we kept track of fights and fighters? Since the 1870s? That's 15 decades and counting and the boxer who was named Fighter of the Decade (2000-2009) is not in your top 25 list? WTF?!?
Scarface, you're full of $h1t..Comment

Well then let him hate. TEDDY ATLAS's TOP 20 ALL_TIME LIST isnt the official one nor will there ever be one. Also, look at the ones who he is having the debate with, its not like there was a B.Sugar there or someone with a better boxing IQ to question it or debate it. Its just his opinion.Comment

Here is the First and 10 debate. I dont find it offensive in any way. he is speaking his mind and just because he doesnt have pacquiao in his top 25 All-time doesnt mean its disrespectful. ****, he has Manny higher than Floyd so at least he is giving him props somewhere. I honestly agree with him with this whole title BS.
You agree with him on the title bs thing you say?
Let's see, back in the day, there's no WBC, no WBA, no IBF, no WBO, no Scoop division, and that's from Scarface's own mouth. Hank was the undisputed champ in 3 weight divisions (Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight), making him the "lineal" champ of these divisions. Let's throw that 8 titles in as many divisions for Manny out of the window. Pacman has 4 lineal titles in as many divisions, that's 1 more than Hank, how's that inferior if compared to Armstrong's body of work?Comment

Ive noticed more & more of his comments have become very denigrating against pacquiao & bordering on down right unprofessional ever since he got exposed for his alleged pacquiao steroid email smoking gun with ny post writer tim smith.
He was truly disrespectul & downright unbearable during ESPN's coverage of pac vs mosley weigh in. He's been like this, going out of his way to disrespect & discredit pac at every chance he gets ever since he got called out for that alleged email incident.Last edited by badass316; 05-07-2011, 03:17 AM.Comment

I think you misunderstood or maybe I should have explained it better. I'm not comparing Pacquiao with Armstrong nor agreeing with him with in everything he was saying, I'm talking about that now a days titles are in bunches as he was saying and you can pretty much pick the weakest link and call yourself a champion in it. I'm not talking about Pacquiao nor down grading him in any way, its the sport in general that has F%^$ up with all these titles and keeps us from seeing the best fight the best.
My bad and I totally agree with you when it comes to these alphabet soup belts. There should be only 1 recognized sanctioning body for boxing, but we all know it's just a pipe dream. At least most of the hardcore boxing fans gives more weight to the Ring Mag's list, and that's what we go by when it comes to lineal champs this day and age...Comment

Skip needs to do some Lens Crafters. SRL would have been Pac on WelterW.
Pac is not a natural WW. Hearns will probably beat him too at WW.Comment
