Diaz moves to boxing and fights a shot Lacy, who has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights.

There is nothing wrong with this, but MMA fans better not paint a Diaz victory, as a victory for MMA over boxing. The fact is, green up and comers like De Gale and Groves would knock him out in a round.

I think Lacy will probably win if the Diaz sparring video is anything to go by. Maybe there is a reason for why he looked so awful. But even if there is, I expect a shot former-champion and former-Olympian to be able to defeat someone who hasn't even mastered the fundamentals of the sport.

The logical way of seeing this is that unless Lacey takes him out early, he's going to lose later bleeding like a stuck pig.

Diaz's stamina is impeccable and even though Diaz pillow punches, those suckers have a mean way to cut a fellow.
