they are top fighters fighting each other. they will have a few losses

Right there is an argument. The problem is people like to look at how many years and not WHO the fighters where when they fought.

Mayweather beat champions at THERE weight when moving up. He became the undisputed WW champion. People said he was scared of Baldo (who hadn't lost in how long at that point?) and Judah.

Margarito was not beaten but DESTROYED and suspended from boxing for a year due to loaded gloves. Clottey is a stepping stone and is STILL a nobody. Only got the fight because he was Top Rank.
