Have you even watched that fight or did you just see highlights on upcoming Manny fights? Cotto did not start circling away until the last few rounds. UNtil round 8 Cotto was still landing good shots backing Manny up at times.

Cotto vs Marg and Cotto vs Pac were ****in classics. Yet all anybody wants to do instead of admiring those ****in warriors going at it is criticize cotto. Not to mention Cotto looks better against Pure boxers like Floyd. Thats when he's at his best. Cotto can beat mayweather. Mayweather don't have the power to hurt Cotto and Cotto won't just stare at him like Mosely did.

I agree with urrry thang except the last part, which i can't bold for unknown reasons in hurrr. Mayweather's power is deceiving, yet one would be overlooking him if one wurrr to diminish the effectiveness of it. He certainly possesses more than enough power to hurt Cotto. Anything Cotto can do Mayweather does better. Mayweather's precision, speed, and IQ will be to much for Cotto to handle despite Cotto's skill set, as Mayweather's skills are on another level.

However, Cotto does possess a very good jab, which would help him perform better than Mosley against Mayweather, yet I see his jab being taken away down the stretch of the fight by May's counter right hand. Not taking anything away from Cotto though

I think it takes some one with a big punch out put to keep mayweather on the defense. Who isnt scared to take a punch in order to land 2 or 3. If you try to box mayweather you will loose.
