i disagree, i think naz and shane both realize that expending that energy

with those types of shots along with pacs movement and pac throwing

combinations will wear and tire shane out in a few rounds....its not like shane

is 28 anymore, he cant just absorb those shots and continue marching on,

they wear him down extensively at this point.

i think shane has finally bought into the fact he has to adapt his aggression

and way of fighting like hopkins has done, and shane sees it can be effective

through the sparring he has done through this camp.

shane tried to out reflex floyd like he was still 25, he couldnt do it, he then

tried to chase down and go aggressively after mora who was 18 lbs heavier

and ran all night, it just wore shane out completely...

there is a reason why sprinters retire at 32 yet long distance runners continue

    with marathons into their 70's....

shane can adapt and be effective with a good controlled pace and mixing in

power shots from time to time while concentrating on sharp punching.

not chasing, not throwing bombs, not trying to out match pac, which offensively

no one can do, but to create openings through sharp punching...

when shane caught floyd and almost knocked him out it wasnt because he

out reflexed him, it was a simple 1-2, jab to the body and over hand right

    that created the opening...

even naz told him in the corner late in the fight he was looking for openings

which were not there, to create the opening...

pac is a monster, a sure offensive machine, his speed is ridiculous, but he

is predictable as he always slides under to the right....

    always

Agreed. It doesn't matter if you don't take your foot off the gas or not when the tank is empty.

Nothing new here.. Shane trying to hype up the fight but anyone in their right mind knows Pac is just toooooooo much for him at this stage..
I agree with you on the first part of hyping up the fight....i can't agree on the second part because the reason Shane didn't fire back is Floyd left no openings he could find at the time. After Floyd gathered himself he went back to what he does better than anyone else, defensive fighting and perfect on time counter punching...Shane used a lot in that 2nd round and by the time he may have gotten some energy back, Floyd had dictated the pace and style of the fight.

Pac will leave openings all night. We all know he doesn't have great defense. When Pac gets hit hard, he immediately starts throwing lightning fast flurries. The openings in THIS fight will remain there however long the fight goes. Shane is still faster and stronger than most...couple that with his chin and the openings Pac will leave all night....It could be very fun to watch!! I believe it will be a great fight, with Shane having his chances to pile up some points and hard shots...not saying he will win...he has much more than a punchers chance though
