Pacquiao is currently the number 1 and ultimate pound-for-pound king boxer of the world, cementing his famous ability by shaking sense out of the greatest fighters in the world such as Juan Manuel Marquez, David Diaz, the prime Pretty Boy of the ring Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, even Joshua Clottey, and the unbeatable Antonio Margarito. And if you’re missing anything else, he is an eight-division world champion, and is in class of his own. Well, you might say he’s a sensational and ruthless boxer, given the fact that for the record, he pioneers to be the first boxer in history to win 10 world titles, the first to win eight weight divisions, and even the first to win the lineal championship in four respective and different weight classes. And to make everything worth envy from other fighters, he was named Fighter of the Decade by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) and had been dubbed as the Fighter of the Year by the BWAA and the Ring Magazine in 2006, 2008, and 2009 respectively.

If Pacquiao is #1 and an all time great then so is Barry Bonds. How can a man who avoids OST be considered #1. If it were Floyd there would be a demand for him to submit to testing.
135 is pacs real legacy after that its all rigged he fought hatton who floyd beat he fought a retired delahoya he drained cotto he fought clottey who lost to cotto he fought cheato who lost to shane and barely beat a bum and found using plaster he fights shane who lost to cotto and floyd like come on pac stop fighting peoples left overs and draining fighters you were the man at 135 but your letting arum give you these bull**** fights the fight against cotto was your only real threat at welter
How is 135 his legacy when all he has there is a win over gas station attendant Diaz? Pac avoided the real challenges @135. Pac wouldn't have gotten pass Jeff Chandler@118 back in the day let lone Gomez @122, Sanchez @126 and we won't even mention Camacho @135. GTFOH and go do some research.

pacs legacy at 135?!?! what legacy?!?! he fought david diaz, completely skipped over nate campbell who at the time held 3 out of 4 lightweight titles. coming off a big win over baby bull and no fight scheduled but he fights david diaz then jumps up. already been said but pacs career after 130 is a mockery.no respect for the sport building this atg legacy fighting **** slow fighters.
By Robert Morales - Manny Pacquiao has graced the professional boxing world with his presence for the past 16 years, since he turned pro in January 1995 at the age of 16. Much has been made of the success he has had in eight weight classes, having won major-governing body world titles in six and people's-champion titles in two others.
Unquestionably, Pacquiao - who will defend his welterweight title against "Sugar" Shane Mosley on Saturday at MGM Grand in Las Vegas - will be a first-ballot Hall of Fame selection five years after he retires.
But as good as he has been, it's difficult not to wonder how he would have done against the likes of Roberto Duran as a lightweight, Aaron Pryor as a junior welterweight and Sugar Ray Leonard as a welterweight. After all, none of the fighters Pacquiao has beaten from lightweight to welterweight - David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito - are in the same class as any of those three. frankly theres a lot of guys pac wont beat now, let alone those three all time greats, duran would demolish pacyow same for leonard and pryor .lemme ask this would pac with his dimunitive size go up and fight the top guy at 160lbs like duran did?? hell no! hearns ko'd duran, iran barkley shortly after kod hearns then duran kod barkley, and this was a past it duran. duran gave leonard his first loss in his prime, the truth is pac has never faced the type of competetion that even mosley or delahoya has let alone the type of competetion 15 round assasins of the past did. those guys fought more frequently for pride, now most fighters are divas that only fight for money, against soft "faded name " opposition.the guys that can beat pac or at least give him serious comp , hes completely unwilling to face them even now, why pac gets a pass by the press I dont know.the truth is this is a very weak era and thats compounded by fighters like mayweather and pac due to their unwillingness to risk it all against guys that can actually beat them.for instance why is yet again pac fighting a guy like mosley ??? hes shot as shot can be hasnt won a fight in 2 and a half yrs ,whats the point whats it prove ?? what? hes don this 6x already its really getting old ,and his fans make it even worse, as they think their guy is the best for essentially fighting past it bums and no-hopers. I dont get it.
as far is the 8 weight title thing its complete kaka, the only thing impressive about that is straw weights usually dont becomE welterweights, and its HOW he obtained those titles not why, he goes up in wt and fights the weakest bums and the sanctioning body gives them a paper belt then pac takes it thats the long and short of it.plus back in the day there was no jr or super classes,. paCS 154LB TITLE IS A FARCE AT BEST PIT HIM AGAINST A LEGIT 154LB CHAMPION OR CONTENDER THEN LETS TALK. PACS 8 WT CLASS BS IS FALSE ADVERTISING.he fights the weakest guys with a name in EVERY wt class since jmm.
