Who would win Ortiz vs Margarito?

lets say 147. I know he looked like **** the last time he made that weight but I got faith in him.

At 147 he would KO Margo ,,,,,, Margo is done and was not much at his peak just a big tough guy , now he is on a busted ass cant make the weight downward slide , Ortiz looks very strong and punches hard at this weight the move up done him good .

just curious what you guys think. Just in case this Mayweather Ortiz thing is for real lets get some real perspective on just how good Ortiz is.
I think Margo would make him pull another no mas. Ortiz just gets hit too much and even if he boxed Margo's pressure would eventually wear him down.

if maidana gave ortiz all kinds of problems, margo would be a horrible fight for him

yeah, I get what your saying I just don't see it. Berto's power ain't that great, when Ortiz got hit with that one flush shot what did he do? Ran to the corner and started swinging wildly with his hands down. Same thing he did with Maidana. Only diffrence is Berto has a glass jaw, Maidana made him pay for that.

margarito isn't as young as maidana, he's slowed down a bit. margo has been away from the ring for a while, age is factor considering him going against a 24-year old champ. ortiz has skills, footwork, good power, and he showed what he is capable of when his back is against the wall. margo is still one tough dude, but i don't think he will cause as much trouble as maidana did to ortiz back when they fought. whether you believe in the 'new' mentality/heart ortiz has is up to you, but we're gonna find out as time goes on. older margo, hungier ortiz, 147, i don't see margo stopping him, maybe at 154 like i said earlier, but even then, i just don't see margo as major threat anymore. his best days are over with imo...but like in boxing, anything can happen.

well then, ortiz would rack up rounds in the beginning, bruise him up like manny, and win a clear decision. but we've never seen ortiz at 154, so we don't know exactly how it can play out. i think we will know what margs has left when his next fight comes around. is he still scheduled to fight cotto later this year?

Pac never really backed him up. Margo just kept coming and take punishment to try and land that one game changing punch, just didn't happen. Margo's a tough SOB.

pacquiaos punches were stopping margarito and all margarito does is come forward thats what he does but manny's punches were stopping him.
maidana is actually considered as a power puncher margarito is not and maidana is probably a better overall fighter than margarito but he's a smaller fighter than margarito. the only advantage margarito has over almost all his opponents is that he's bigger than them and the 1 thing i give to margarito is that he is a pretty good body puncher.victor ortiz seems to have power in both hands and as easy as margarito is to hit i can see victor knocking him out

Ortiz would get KTFO. Margarito doesn't clinch every 5 seconds and hits harder than Berto upstairs and to the body. And Ortiz doesn't hit hard enough to keep Margarito off him like Mosley or Pacquiao did.
