Extra scrutiny on Wlad/Peter

....With the recent death of Leavander Johnson and the resulting bad publicity for the sport of boxing I am expecting extra close scrutiny of the condition of the fighters this Saturday. Don't be surprised at an early stoppage by the ref when either Peter or Wlad shows the first sign of being hurt. The fans may get upset but HBO is going to praise the ref for doing the right thing. Just something to think about.

this is the main reason why i'am against anne wolfe fighting a man. ive said it before but still, imagine if she ended up in the same situation as johnson. can you imagine the amount of **** storm our sport would catch if that happend to a woman, because of a man. boxing would be through, christ i dont even wanna think about it. i hope they never allow that fight to go through but if it makes money im sure they will. sorry to change the subject, i just wanted to say that.

Why not introduce head-gear and heavier gloves as in amateur boxing?

This will give an edge to boxers but will also make things a lot safer.

I think if they stop a fight cause someone is taking big time punishement they will do the right thing. watch Brewster vs Kali Meehan that fight shoulda been stopped when Meehan was busting the **** outts Brewster, so many fights dont get stopped when they are supposed to thas my point..

Yeah I can see it now. An early stoppage, praised by HBO for probably saving a life. Then a Rematch anounced because of the "horrible" stoppage a couple weeks later.
