He has finally regained his confidence and the next logical fight for him would be Maidana to increase his reputation and build him up as a star at welterweight.

I understand that if Ortiz fights Floyd the financial ramifications will be huge and no doubt Ortiz gets his biggest pay day.

the plan was to fight the winner of Ortiz vs Berto

they wanted it to be Berto but he dropped the ball, the plan was to use Berto's UNDEFEATED RECORD to help hype the fight but Ortiz ruined it, so I guess he could probably go ahead and fight Ortiz...neither of them have much of a shot either way...Mayweather by UD or late stoppage, I like Ortiz but he defense is HORRIBLE and Mayweather will exploit every FLAW IN HIS GAME if they fight

Really good fight, Ortiz is an A class fighter, good southpaw tune up. and stop this non sense if Floyd ain't fighting Pac he should not fight, same could be said about Pac.
