And all you know about boxing is the 5 or 6 Rican burnout boxers who were washed up before they were 30 and haven't been relevent fighters for over a decade now.

This is only becuase Martinez said he wants the regular belt too. Chavez jr would have no chance against Martinez and Top Rank knows it too. Now they need to go a different route with jr.

        Shameless.

And while we are on the subject of Martinez... Why not Chavez Jr. V Martinez?

Why are some of you "fans" OK with Chavez fighting bus drivers. The man already has 44 fights and the only name on his resume worth a chuckle is Duddy.
Fight the smaller gomez? 5 ****ing pounds seperated them before they fought you ****** ***ing drama queen Rican. He had stayed at that weight since his pro debut as a teenager so if a man in his 20's is fighting in the same weight class that he was when he was a teenager it's obvious that Gomez was the one who was weight draining himself so he could have a size advantage over his opponents.

Joining Thomas Hearns, Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Pernell Whitaker, Oscar De La Hoya, Leo Gamez, Roy Jones Jr, Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao. First ballot HOF right there.

Stick to MMA and Fedor you shameless spandex-lovin phaggot. Don't try and rewrite reality with your BS theories about how Gomez was really a cruiserweight you angry 2nd class citizen. I bet your mother is so confused watching your fruity ass curse at your screen dressed in your tight ass Fedor panties you lil bytch...

Margarito's eye-socket would have healed already if they would have simply used one of Tony's wraps to hold the bone in place.

                  Dear Mexican Warrior,

Don't watch Rocky III before a big fight because it really facks up your sense of reality. The actor playing Rocky is not really about to die in every fight. It's only a movie and when the director yells "cut!" the actor stops acting like he is going to die in the ring. Also, use your gloves to block a few punches each round. This will help your eye socket from getting bashed too far into your skull. The last thing you need is to sit out for a year because you wanted to be a badass and fight with your eye pushed 1/4 inch into your skull. Once you hear your little Asian opponent asking you, "Are you OK?" every 2 minutes in a fight... It usually means you are facked up and it's even scaring him.

This is a very good tune-up for Cotto, he should make it at 154 tho. But it will be tempting for him to go up to 160 and get a title in 4 different weight classes. Would make him the 1st Rican to do it and most likely a HOFmer.

I really don't buy the Margarito BS. Maybe is more about not having a license to fight anywhere than Texas, they know that this fight can't be done in Texas.

So you think that Marg is scared or doesn't want this fight?

He has to be cleared, and maybe they aren't willing to make it in NJ or NY but it also could take time for his face to heal, IDK.

I also think that Jr would be tougher for Cotto than people think. He's big, takes a good shot and can punch. Plus he's been with Roach now for a while, I would say he's a dangerous opponent.
