bro, the difference with your statement is that those other boxers are trying to lose weight to make weight...for pac, its all about maintaining. i thought u wouldve known that, considering most fighters come into training camp needing to lose anywhere from 10 to 25 lbs, whereas pac, he just try to maintain it

Pac is a small welterweight. He won't weigh in tomorrow at 147 and wont rehydrate past 150.

Of course hes a small welterweight. Hes moved up from 106lb, so is hardly going to be a big WW is he?

He has to eat loads to stay at 147. He is 140 naturally.

Boy, you are on all the Pac threads and are really angry all the time. His head is normal size, its just his hair is big. If he got a decent haircut he would be normal as the next guy.

Question for the pac fans. Please stay on topic also. Why did pac have Cottocome in at a catch weight but not Mosley?
Maybe the 2 pounds might not have made a difference but I'm just curious?!?!?

PLASTIC MAN is a hype job and little boys get off on hype , today Mosley is an old man looking for a retirement cheque , Plastic Man ducked him when he had a any chance and waited until he was showing he was shot adding another bogus match to Plastic Mans resume of manipulation .
Even Roach was scared and said it in so many words.

Knocking him out is his best option. Theres no lack of respect there. If he can muster up a decent jab he'll get an opening.

You know why? When a person's body gets used to being a certain weight 2lbs can be rough.

Pacquiao was fighting at superfeather not long before that, had just fought Hatton at 140lbs where he was comfortably under.

Roach did not want Manny stepping up again and giving away over a stone in the ring against a world champion welter.

Cotto was 146lbs for Clottey and making 145lbs was know problem.

Manny has grown a bit more but still comes in well under the welter limit but has proved he can cop with given away huge weight advantages in the ring.

Manny did in 20 months what it too Floyd 8 years to do.

Two pounds or not, Cotto did not come prepared. I'm a huge Cotto fan, and hope for a rematch with Emanuel in the corner with him, but Cotto was beat fair and square. He thought his size and power would be too much for Pac....he was very wrong. In essentially training himself for that fight, he had no game plan for Pac...he came out swinging and got beat, that's it. The jab went out the window and he just started throwing and Pac continually caught him....the weight wasn't the difference.

A good fighter matched very carefully with PEDS CWS and manipulations like huge ringsize and 8oz gloves in a 10 oz division can get the wins on the board , but if you break them down and look at the career stage of the opponent and the handicaps they had against them to get a big payday , its all very Plastic at the core , it impresses WWE style fans and little boys that have been looking at boxing for a short while .
