You could say he was "forced" because it was right b4 the fight, but Marquez had the choice. Just as Cotto had the choice to not sign for a fight at 145 and Margarito @ 150 against Pac. No Pacquiao had to wear huge gloves and lost the two fights by KO when he did come overweight, he drained and starved himself to make weight. And moved straight up on both occasion. pac was not in his teens when he was fighting in the 126 -35 weight classes where he was clearly draining himself down to fight in the lower weight classes rather than moving up like floyd did.
