You right here,Ortiz has become Berto's successor as far as not wanting to prove anything at the weight..I have heard nothing to suggest that Ortiz wants to challenge himself against other young talent in the Div..He is jumping to May's and Pac's..But not mentioning Jones,Maidana(who owns his heart and soul)or Karass a nice test for anybody in the top ten imo..I don't like Berto I never did I don't think much of him as a fighter and always thought he was nothing more then a hype job..I really hope Ortiz is willing to earn his bones and dose not make the same foolish mistakes that Berto made..

I'm going by the fact he said he did not want to rematch Maidana(who owns him as of now)and no mention of any other top fighters at WW..I also said I hope he does not make the same mistake not that he did already..

REMATCH!!! First fight was very good and for me was good for both fighters, after the bout i held both men in higher regard than I had previously to this fight. I don't think either mans needs to fight anyone else at this point, everyone I have spoken to about that fight enjoyed it and inevitably ask when is the rematch? Problem is this is boxing the more the fans demand something the less likely they will get it. If the fans outright said they didn't want to see it they'd make it no question, if the fans demand it they won't make the fight under any circumstances these days.

Karass is a somewhat of a puncher,and has a similar style to that of Ortiz(less talented tho)..I want that fight bad for either Ortiz or Berto..

Ortiz is just better, best for Berto to stay away. But I do believe he is gonna fight Zaveck, I remember reading that Bailey would step aside as long as both fighters guarantee him a shot at the title
