It's funny to think about Ishida winning over a more popular fighter again.

Unless Paul has revamped his whole style, combining his penchant to brawl with Ishida's chin and boxing ability does make the outcome of the fight less clear.

Should be a good action fight though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ishida v PW because of the kirkland fight, but I believe something besides Ishida knocked kirkland out. I don't believe Ishida has all this under rated power, kirkland has under rated demons. Ishida would still be good for a come backing Williams, much taller than Kirkland and coming ff a good win.

BoxingScene.com has been advised that former junior middleweight interm champion Nobuhiro Ishida (23-6-2) and former title challenger Deandre Latimore (22-3) are under serious consideration to face former champion Paul Williams on July 9th. LOL... I have nothing but respect for Paul but imagine if Ishida waxed him like he did Kirkland. Actually the possibility of it happening has already piqued my interest in this fight
