HBO has this thing called a budget. I want that budget to stop wasting money for tune ups and put them into good quality fights.

HBO has been trying to dump Berto for ages.

Andre hasn't earned them one thin dime.

Even the HBO announcers bad-mouth him.

Berto has zero support from HBO or anybody.

        Berto doesn't deserve a tuneup??

        C'mon now..

And who's to say Jan Zaveck is a tuneup?

Watch the Berto-Ortiz fight in HD.

Notice behind the ring HBO's Kery Davis was OPENLY rooting for Berto. Ross Greenburg was more reserved but he was too, look at his expression of dismay when Ortiz came back with that last knockdown.

And the referee was doing all he could to help Berto - not counting the first knockdown by Ortiz and deducting a point for no good reason. And the ref was in Victor's face all night.

Berto was getting HUGE paydays to fight opponents from smaller weight divisions.

Berto definitely has HBO's backing, he's their most favored, pampered boxer.

This is what he should've been doing these past few years instead of picking on the Freddy Hernandezes of the world. Collect/unify the WW titles and force guys like Pacquiao to give you the money fights. I'm thinking Bradley will sign with Top Rank next month and I thought it would've been a great strategy for him to go after Zaveck's belt this fall and then have a unification bout with Manny in the Spring. But looks like Berto beat him to it.

There's always Senchenko, but Zaveck's the more crowd-pleasing fighter- he likes to ****.

Berto brings HBO no money at all foolish one.

                  He has ZERO fanbase.

                  HBO is a business...

                  Ortiz brings more money.

                  HBO is glad Ortiz won.

Interesting match up. I've only seen this Zaveck fight once where he lost and I thought he was robbed in that fight.

HBO invests more in latino/mexican fighters than Blacks because of FANBASE/dollars.

                      Mexican boxing is on life-support.

The fact that ya'll are so hard-up that you'd jock 5'8 hype-job Canelo that couldn't take-out the dreaded Mathew Hatton says a lot about the condition of mexican boxing.

Don't let the Ortiz fight go to your empty head lil mexican..lol.
