I know u like Cotto I do too man but reality is Cotto is just not on the same level as Floyd. Floyd never ducked him and you need to do your research. If you did you would see when floyd was up and coming he called out cotto in his prime when he was on Top Rank and they said Cotto wasn't ready. It's irrelelvant, it was news previously when it was a lien and he had very little cash flow and was liquidating assets, it's no longer a news piece when it's a $3.4 mil tax bill, for a fighter who grossed $70 mil since his initial troubles with the IRS.

I agree he is fiscally irresponsible, like nearly every other boxer who ever made any real money, but it's not newsworthy, and your premise is right, he is coming back for the money (because why leave another $40 mil on the table), but not because he needs it to pay a pitiful tax bill of $3.4 million...........

Why is it not newsworthy? In terms of boxing or in terms of simple reporting?
If Floyd's real financial situation is dictating that he must fight, then it is newsworthy. No?

Personally, I would like to see him fight again whether it is motivated by need to pay obligation or further desire to fight. But, my su****ion is that increasingly it is the former than the latter.
