**** this **** man it is so sad to hear stuff like this. I thought he was going to pull through this. My prayers go for his whole family and it is so sad for his kids to live without their dad. Jesus Chavez will have to live with this nightmare and it won't be easy. Jesus Chavez should dedicate his next bout to johnson. Leavander fought like a warrior and died like a warrior and that is something that no one will ever take away from him.

it's part of boxing, he's 35 years old and there should have been a rigid test on his physical condition before he fought, i don't know maybe someone should be held accountable for his death! is there an oversight on this matter?

        RIP Leavander.

A death in boxing is always a depressing event for me. Especially when the one who left us seemed like such a gentleman.

R.I.P. to Leavander Johnson and God's peace to his family. I prayed for him but I guess that just wasn't the plan. I pray that Jesus Chavez doesn't take this too hard but at the same time doesn't take this light. I also hope that this will help other fighters and trainers know when to stop certain fights.

It's a shame that it takes this kind of awful thing in the sport for it to get noticed by the main stream media like it is.

I hope his family will be fine without him.

Just shows how boxing is a very different sport.
