This is a very sad day in the world of boxing. This is what happens when fighters are put under pressure to brawl in order to build a fan base and sell tickets. If Gatti keeps this up, he'll suffer the same fate.

Very humbling to see a tragedy happen on a televised PPV in a title fight.

      This one really hits home.

      RIP Champ.

Thats true. Its a catch 22. Your damned if you and Damned if you dont.

But this suxs. I bought the PPV and was hoping Chavez would just knock him out to get it over with, but never happened. RIP man.

What do you think would happen if the judges posted the scores of each round so everyone would know? Would that funk up the sport? I think they should do a few trial runs if nothing to try it.
