all i can say is that it is to marquez' credit that floyd didn't/couldn't/wouldn't (depends who you are asking) knock him out in spite of all the advantages he had over marquez.

Doesn't mean I'm not saying it wasn't a great performance by Floyd because it was.
From what I can tell, Marquez only landed 3 good punches the entire fight and one of them he paid for with a knockdown

I reckon, both fighters at their best weight would have been a great boxing match - I still think Floyd would take it, but it would have been so much more exciting say at 130 or 135.

Still, the more I watch Marquez, the more I rate him as a boxer... deffo a future HOF.
I never saw Floyd frustrated in that entire fight, it looked like Floyd was in cruise control the entire time to me.

He just wouldn't. It was painfully obvious that Mayweather was just putting in the rounds and if he wanted, he could have beat Marquez up enough to stop him. He may not knock him out cold, but Mayweather could have had that fight stopped at any time he wanted.

TS is just confusing Mayweather-Marquez with Pacquiao-Marquez, yes for stretches of the fight JMM dominated Pac not so much Floyd.

People say JMM didnt land anything, but i never hear FLoyd say he never got hit! I never hear JMM say he didnt land anything on Floyd, although he does say Floyd was hard to hit properly.

That performance doesnt do JMM justice really, and JMM will go down as a ATG boxer potentially.
