      floyd

by the time floyd finally evades a jailcell w/all his pstpnmnts...pac will be gone...and most any other serious challangers...floyds a joke and disgrace...think about this at 147...floyd v roberto duran, leonard, or ...historically the real Sugar Ray. 3 losses for fraud!!!

Maybe, Pac sure as hell won't fight Ortiz, that's for sure.

I personally give pac the edge on competition. Cotto and clottey are tougher then judah and baldy.
Floyds were a tad fresher, but that being said pacs opponents were still tougher. I would still love to see marg vs floyd because the style match up

Anyways, I respect both of them. People should do the same
I hear you but no way. Cotto was a 145 catchweight title win and Clottey hasn't won anything significant in his entire career with exception to Judah and Mosley was the top dog at WW when Floyd fought him and Baldomir was the Lineal champion at 147 despite what you think of him, he beat the Undisputed champion Zab Judah. Floyd was already scheduled to fight Zab but Zab lost and Floyd still honored his contract.

I don't have an issue with that, they are clowns, and they are being played.

The only issue that I have is when that " naive pacquiao fanbase " tries to re-sell me that same stale bull****.

The last live dog that Pacquiao fought was Marquez II, and we all saw what happened there.

I don't know bout Roger but I think the fight was certainly much tougher than Berto expected...

I think Berto thought it would be a boxing match and he might be the aggressor...it was the complete opposite...the look on his face was whoa I'm in a fight...

In that Floyd is his own manager, while Pac is under contract from Arum, and has to do what he says to a good extent.

I think Pac would fight anyone at his weight range throughout his career. But who can blame either of them as it is a business. If you can get millions for fighting anyone, even when it should be clear that it will be a no-contest due to age or weight, etc. of the opponent, and people will still pay, why not from their POV? Would you turn down big bucks for a sure thing?

The only way that only good fights against an opponent who has a chance will happen is if people boycott fights that shouldn't be made.

During the Vietnam War, protesters had signs that said "Suppose they gave a war and nobody came?"

Suppose they gave a fight that shouldn't have been made and ...

Problem is it gets all hyped up and people start to believe there's a chance. Obviously there is--usually 2 chances...

And I guess many of the people who ***** about this issue or are vocal pro-one fighter and anti-the other, will still watch, and maybe even pay to see these fights that shouldn't get made.

Bottom line, if people boycotted, these fights wouldn't get made.
                      Well said!
