Floyed come on man, everyone wants to see a fight between victor and floyed, do it for the fans. The time has come around, once a year like the super bowl. This is a sik fight i really hope it happens. (Floyed wins in a really competitive action Jackson type of fight)

          That was not Roger Mayweather.

Roger doesn't watch boxing, and he didn't call Berto, Ortiz, or even King a motherfu**er..... not even once.

He's probably right, I don't think Berto will jump straight back into a rematch.
I agree with LeadUppercut here... writer made the story up. Why the hell would Don King invite Floyd to a fight that he's not the promoter? Don King wasn't even there!

Even Sharmba Mitchell came off a win before he faced Floyd. Now....... what about Pac?
Do yourself a favor and pull up boxrec. Open 2 tabs on your browser and put manny and floyd side bt side. Pull up there last let's say 5 or 6 fights and the opponents records.. You will see they are figgen identical. Mosley lost to cotto but win over marg then floyd fought him(year later). Cotto lost to marg then beat jennings, then pac fought him. Judah lost to baldomir, floyd fought him(NO contracts were signed, it was agreed upon WINNING) clotty lost to cotto(pac fought him).

The list can go on and on, I really don't know why you guys try to discredit manny when floyd does the same thing.

Nah he didn't make it up. I heard Roger say it my self. There is a recent Inv with Roger on onthegrind boxing podcast.

Maybe he got confused but he def said it. And I'd you listen the Intv you can tell Ortiz is the probably the next fighter faces before PAC(yes I still have faith in this fight).

I can agree that Floyd and Pac both went the big money route at the end of the day. The only difference is that Floyd guys at 147 were a lil fresher than Pac's. We can agree to disagree on that though. Cotto struggled against Clottey, then he fought Pac not after Jennings. Pac fought Clottey who lost to Cotto after he beat the winner Cotto.

Well isn't there a difference here?

In that Floyd is his own manager, while Pac is under contract from Arum, and has to do what he says to a good extent.

I think Pac would fight anyone at his weight range throughout his career. But who can blame either of them as it is a business. If you can get millions for fighting anyone, even when it should be clear that it will be a no-contest due to age or weight, etc. of the opponent, and people will still pay, why not from their POV? Would you turn down big bucks for a sure thing?

The only way that only good fights against an opponent who has a chance will happen is if people boycott fights that shouldn't be made.

During the Vietnam War, protesters had signs that said "Suppose they gave a war and nobody came?"

Suppose they gave a fight that shouldn't have been made and ...

Problem is it gets all hyped up and people start to believe there's a chance. Obviously there is--usually 2 chances...

And I guess many of the people who ***** about this issue or are vocal pro-one fighter and anti-the other, will still watch, and maybe even pay to see these fights that shouldn't get made.

Bottom line, if people boycotted, these fights wouldn't get made.
